The Drugstore Eyeshadow You Need

L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadow

These eyeshadows are $7.99, buttery, metallic, and pigmented. They're also suspiciously similar to the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow which are $34 each. Armani is owned by L'Oréal, so the chances of these products being the exact same are high.

But besides the money factor, this is just a bomb eyeshadow. If, like me, you have no time or patience for elaborate eyeshadow looks that require 5 brushes, you’ll probably enjoy this. The texture is a powder but is so buttery it acts more like a cream, and is best applied with fingertips.

My favorite colors:

Amber Rush: warm toned gold-y bronze

Bronzed Taupe: exactly what the name suggests, cool toned bronze taupe

Iced Latte: champagne pearl, can double as a highlighter if you're into a blinding highlight

These shades are universally flattering but if you have blue or hazel eyes go for Amber Rush. My personal favorite is bronzed taupe. I only have 3 shades because the thought of having more than 5 single eyeshadows stresses me out (more on my minimalism efforts later).

These singles are nothing new, but I feel like they’re often overlooked in favor of expensive palettes. To summarize: glossy, sexy, and a third of the price of a single eyeshadow at Sephora.
